Christina, born in 1988, grew up in the vicinity of Pforzheim, Germany. There she attended the academic high school or gymnasium which focuses on music; the time she spends playing the piano allows her to indulge her musical inclinations.

Her career path is commercially and technically oriented, with many years of experience gained in the printing industry.

From early childhood on she enjoyed drawing and painting and increasingly used the medium as an emotional expression which lets her communicate and process impressions and experiences. The freedom found in art motivates her to experiment and to develop the skill in an autodidactic manner. From this emerged a passion which has accompanied and guided her through life.

A period of personal restructuring and further development resulted in the decision to reconsider the adaptive way of life and to progress from someone with a sense of merely functioning to someone following the inner voice.

It was during this process that a new style of painting came into existence, “Diamond Rain,“ which shows the dissolving of an abstract digital rain curtain as it reveals an individual’s radiance or aura in the form of a human face. The light causes the individual drops to appear as diamonds. The choice of a variety of expressionist colors underscores the individuality of expression. The light emphasizes the connectedness and the color illustrates the uniqueness.

She is fascinated by the charismatic radiance of human beings and its effects and never settles for superficiality. What hides itself behind the facade and the protective outer layer is mysterious, exciting and unpredictable.

“Live your passion and your uniqueness will become apparent.”
